Overall I found Salgados Village to be a really nice, tranquil place and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to those who enjoy a chilled out, relaxing, beach holiday!

We had a wonderful time again at the apartment. Weather was good and it wasn't that busy like it was in the summer. The apartment was brilliant, so much so that we are looking into getting one ourselves! Phil from Rainbow was brilliant. The shop was open on the complex, very good. Coffee shop and buns excellent too. Once again, excellent holiday, very relaxing. Thank you. So much so that I was wondering what you have free in July/August for a week?

The area is great for people who enjoy golf and ideal for families. The golf course is 400 yards away and includes driving range. This property is in a fantastic area. There are over 25 restaurants within 3k. The fabulous beaches of Gale are just a short walk and the luxurious resort of Sao Raphael is nearby. There is an excellent medium sized supermarket less than 20 mins walk away which also has a cash machine (ATM). The big Algarve shopping Centre is only 5/6 km away. Zoo Marine water park with dolphins in just a short drive away also. Armacao de Pera is only 3km away where you can find further beaches and at hotel Garbe they have Bridge 3 times each week.

Imagine a place close to everything but far enough from anything that doesn’t interest. A few steps from fantastic beaches and a golf course surrounded by trees that that get lost in the blue of the horizon. This is an idea place for both families and also those who want a relaxing holiday with fantastic restaurants in easy walking distance. The local beach is just 5 minutes walk and provides safe bathing and golden sands, There’s also a restaurant on the beach. Within 3km, there are 4 or 5 individual beaches all with restaurants. Above pricing based on full cleaning service and linen change at handover, and once weekly linen change and light clean. A fee of £100 will be required as a breakages/damages deposit, this will be refunded in full within 7 days after departure and assuming a successful inspection has been completed. Additional cleaning can be arranged at your expense. Above includes travel cot. Welcome grocery packs can be arranged upon arrival at a small charge. High chairs are also available to hire.

"My friend and I recently stayed at the above apartment in Salgados. The apartment was situated in a newly built complex in the village of Salgados and was only a 25 minute taxi drive from Faro airport.

On arriving at te apartment we were immediately greeted by two reps from Rainbow Property Services who not only helped us in with our luggage, but also showed us round the apartment and gave us some helpful hints and tips on where to find local amenities. They also gave us a fact sheet including emergency contact numbers should we need any help or advice. Being two single females we found this very reassuring indeed!!!

The complex itself is modern in design and the surrounding gardens and walkways are neat and tidy. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and was equipped with all the latest mod-cons, so it really felt like home from home.

There were 3 stunning beaches within a short walk away and although we visited all of the beaches, we opted for Galé Beach most days. Galé Beach was less than a 5 minute walk away and it had plenty of available sunbeds/parasols for hire. There were also 2 great beach restaurants serving food and refreshments all day, aswell as a purpose built toilet and shower block. Although Salgados is a fairly small village, there were plenty of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment which were all reasonably priced. Alternatively if you fancied a bit more nightlife, Albufeira was only a 10 minute taxi ride away! Overall I found Salgados Village to be a really nice, tranquil place and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
